Azeem is an entrepreneur, advisor, speaker and writer, with experience in technology startups and media. He founded and was CEO of PeerIndex, a tool helping companies identify what and who is influencing their customers. PeerIndex was acquired by Brandwatch in 2014, and since then Azeem has been involved in its leadership team. He is also a Mentor at Seedcamp and Advisor in various Internet and tech deals.


Previously, Azeem was Head of Innovation a Reuters, where he was responsible for its corporate level incubator. He was a Member of the Ofcom Consumer Panel, focused on the interests and concerns of consumers in the communications marketplace. Prior to that, Azeem was the Principal at Oxmedia, an advisory firm looking at new businesses in the technology and emerging market space, whose clients included Sky, Morgan Stanley and McKinsey. Azeem was also CMO at Albert, a search technology vendor startup, and founded, an Internet incubator.


Azeem began his career in media, as Correspondent for The Guardian and The Economist, and later as Strategy Manager at BBC and Member of the Board of Director at PlanetOut Partners, an online media business.
