Jeremy is an investor, author, entrepreneur and advisor specializing in digital media and big data. He licensed the first ever music download service with a major record label, and advised the founders of Shazam on their market entry. He has worked in Los Angeles, San Francisco and London with multinationals and start-ups.
Jeremy is currently Chairman of MusicGlue and SupaPass, and advises InnovateUK (previously known as Technology Strategy Board), Bridgeman Images and several others. He is also a member of the UK Creative industries Council, and was Executive Chairman of Semetric Ltd (exited to Apple), CEO of Sibelius Software (exited to Avid) and Worldwide Vice-President of New Media for EMI Group (exited to Universal Music Group) in Los Angeles.
His highly acclaimed book “Digital Medieval (the first twenty years of music on the web)” is available in paperback and as an e-book.
