Paul is an IT Security expert. In 2004 he started Metalab, a community-run space for the local tech scene which is now home to over 140 paying members. In 2012 he became a Mentor for the Theil 20-under-20 Fellowship Network, where he helps some of the world’s most creative and motivated young people bring their ambitious projects to life.
He was previously Quantum Cryptography Protocol Developer at the University of Vienna, where he worked on distributed error correction. Paul was also a founding member of Teso Security, one of the most active computer security groups of the 1990s. He was responsible for about a third of published high-profile computer software security vulnerabilities in the late 90s.
Paul graduated from the Technical University of Vienna in 2007, and has taken courses from the School of Life.
