Phil Jackson has 10 years experience in startups, generally at founder/CTO level, though, admits a small bias towards hands-on technical work.

Having spent his early years as a software contractor, he caught the startup bug, becoming the co-founding CTO of Qwerly - a high-throughput social marketing API. After Qwerly sold to Fliptop, realising there was a market for OSS API management solutions, Phil founded ApiAxle which eventually sold to Exicon. Before Protozoa he was CTO of a London gaming company called BetConnect.

Currently Phil is currently CTO at Protozoa as well as being an adviser to the VC platform, Firestartr and continuing to advise Betconnect.
